Our Hooky Evening

Last night we met in Dream Interiors, Ballinasloe, for our inaugural get together of like minded crochet- hooky- people and the odd knitter (Andrea and Cerys, we are looking at you!!!!)

The time flew, helped by no small means, by the utterly delicious cupcakes from Sprinkles

and its much duller cousin, the scone (only saved from complete fustiness, by dint of having cream and jam)

There was far more laughing than there should have been (at such a sedate event), and we are all looking forward to another get together on the 2nd Tuesday of August at 7pm again.

(Thank you Andrea for the inspiring place to meet and the tea and coffee!)

Nothing dull about the scones at all. Cerys and I had scones and jam for breakfast, was tempted to add cream but felt it was a bit early ! Told my mother in law about the jam-says she’christy(my father in law) loves homemade jam’. so I gave her the half pot. Well there was no hope of them getting MY full pot…I really enjoyed the evening.Looking forward to the next hook up…
