A good while ago, friends of ours sent a (very exciting) parcel all the way across the world in the US of A; it included t-shirt paint and t-shirts, and so I kept them stashed away for “the right moment” which appeared last week. And like everything we seem to do, (feast or famine), not just one, but several t-shirts and vests were treated to the painterly treatment 🙂
(I love that Grace just fired away whilst the boys had a long discussion before the paint lid was taken off!!)
(big brothers are hugely helpful…)
(It took all my self control to not grab the paint off them, and start painting!!)
A really super and absorbing morning was had by all (and our wardrobe now has a few couture pieces!!)
The boys did something similar with Paint Your Own Wellies last week. More paint on the floor and presses than on the wellies! But yes, they had fun, for about 5 minutes making the mess and then went outside to play in the muck. Which always seems to win out.
MY godson does not rush into things, willy-nilly. He THINKS about his composition.
Fabric painting of all kinds is really addictive. You really should try it.
