Well… better late than never…: I’m joining Ginny again on Yarn Along this week.
I’ve been so incredibly busy, and not just newborn-baby-busy, but my head is overflowing with all sorts of creative ideas: paintings, art dolls, cards, crochet. My shawl hasn’t made huge progress in the past 2 weeks, not least because I lost (yes, lost) it for a few days (you have got to see my house to understand…)
I’ve just finished “Testimony” by Anita Shreve (bit gritty at the start for those who may be faint of heart) but an excellent yarn nonetheless! Needless to say, I couldn’t find the book when I went to take the photo…
I’ll post more photos of the Art Dolls asap: there is just no point in me saying when, I’m at the mercy of a six week old little man and a house that needs to be boil-washed…
You make such clever things, I am amazed. I don’t think I did anything when my children were babies. I certainly don’t remember doing anything, and I am pretty sure my house was always dirty, since it still is (lol)! I put together a few of the wrapped pipe cleaner dolls for my grandkids — even though we don’t have any acorns yet for the hats. Hopefully they will start falling soon! The grands love them!
Your shawl is looking lovely – hoping you get some time to relax and enjoy very soon 🙂
oh my – I still love the shall and my house would do better with a complete power wash!
Can’t wait to see the end result –
your shawl is so pretty, i hope you find more time to work on it.
