(Joining Ginny for Yarn Along again this week)
I haven’t made quite as much progress on this shawl as I had hoped, but slowly and surely it will get done.
The book is one my mother gave me- it has been the one nearest while I’m nursing, and as I use bicarbonate of soda for cleaning and cooking every day, it is providing some great new information and uses.
Can you see the rainbow in the photo? Our friend Bobbie gave Baby James a present of a big faceted crystal to hang in the window, and our kitchen is now sprinkled with rainbows…
They create untold delight, especially when they land in small girls porridge!!
I love my rainbow maker! And what delicious porridge that must be. The shawl is really coming along. I love baking soda for cleaning, too.
The shawl is beautiful! I love crystal prisms. I am not normally a rainbow type of person but there is definitely something charming about those unrestrained flights of color!
Gosh, you’re flying through it! Great work, it’s looking lovely!
The shawl is beautiful! And the crystal prism had an extra special bit of joy!
How pretty! My kids are fascinated by rainbows. I just started crocheting in April. Love your header too.
Emily, your shawl will be beautiful!
We love rainbows too – I think there is just something magical about them, all those colours out of thin air almost!
OH I love the shawl – what a beautiful pattern.
I always had a crystal hanging in my car – loved the rainbows on my commute. I really should get some for the kitchen windows here.
Hope all is well with you and yours
Karen
Gorgeous work. Lovely flower in the centre and the rainbow magic sure is special.
