Joining Ginny on Yarn Along:
“~ Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well~”
Apart from drawing, doodling and painting everytime I sit during the day, I am continuing to crochet my large Granny Square blanket when I sit down at night… it is coming along nicely, far more lovely than I had ever dreamed, considering I’m using up odds and ends and odd balls of yarn!
I’ve just finished The Glass Castle, by Jeanette Walls, almost finished Misconceptions by Naomi Wolf (just so that I know what I’m in for ((again!!!)) at the end of the summer),
…consulting Stitch and Fix by Joan Gordon regularly, realising that probably all the mending I have done throughout my life, has been incorrectly executed…
…delighting in Mother’s Nature- the pictures and illustrations alone are just inspiring!
Beautiful granny square blanket!!! I love your colors!! That is actually next on my list. I just bought the yarn, hee hee, I love that part!!
i love the colors in your blanket! doesn’t it feel good to use up those odds and ends? also, i read a few other posts of yours, and pebbles is sooo cute:)
Heather, it is only a pity you don’t live closer, or I could “donate” you a Pebbles look-alike!!!!!
I love the way you used the white in between the colours! Beautiful!
I love, love, love the colours in your blanket!
I’d like to see more of your painting – it looks very sweet!
