Great news for us here, our new, gorgeous website is finally up, still doing a few tweaks here and there, but we are afloat…. whew!!!!!! Thanks to John and Joyce at Pixelcode for TROJAN work (what a hard task master I am!!) New Toys and Websites-hurray!!

Took a few photos the other day… we (without a doubt I am using this as the “royal we”- John & Joyce at Pixelcode are actually doing the work, I’m merely nodding enthusiastically) are in the process of completely overhauling the website- very soon, it will be brand-spanking-new!! and even easier to use, with lots of cool stuff (well, Pixelcode is truly an ultra cool kind of place….) (Have I enough brownie points now??) So I took a few snaps, thought the toy displays were pretty- well, okay, really, until my son (8) decided to redo them all, and reckons they are considerably better- so I’ll be out tomorrow with my camera and an almost-walking baby hanging out of my leg (so professional, thats me)…

Broody: Homebirths and Babies

Well, we have been crocheting like loons once more for Kellys Pub (www.facebook.com/kellysgalway) and can see an end in site! Once they are done we are starting straight into getting ready for our handmade@theNest weekend in October- it is all looking very exciting!

John and Joyce at Pixelcode (www.pixelcode.ie) are working on our new website and we have been having chats about integrating Facebook and Twitter with this blog… just need another 24 hours in every day…

We were blessed with a visit from an extraordinary woman yesterday-Tammy is an American Homebirth midwife over here to “catch” a baby (don’t you just love that expression?) We have a long and varied chat about homebirthing, breastfeeding, attachment parenting… and social media!!

And talking about Americans, Homebirth and babies- an American friend of mine is in my thoughts at the moment-she is in the first trimester of her fourth pregnancy- and hoping for a homebirth in the south of Ireland next year… while closer to home my sister is due her baby in a couple of weeks! I cannot wait!! Doesn’t it make you broody?!
