This is a picture I was commissioned to paint of 2 little girls… It took a while, but a likeness was achieved, and the parents and granny are thrilled… it’s always a little scary when you unveil a portrait- just in case the person says- “who’s that??!!!” But, no, in this case, they spent ages marveling at how they could see cousins and other family members so clearly resembling the little girls. (Whew!! Relief!!)

and some tags which I have just listed in my etsy- The wonderful John in Pixelcode is working out a new shopping cart system so that I can list things in our Nest shop and offer free or very low postage for things like tags… this will be implemented in the next few days and I’ll list them there then…

(These Tags are coffee dyed, vanilla scented, cut, punched, strung, scripted and decorated by Yours Truly)

They can be used in so many ways: from decorating a present, using in scrapbooking or attached to the front of a card.
I am nothing if not industrious…….

the lake had been too choppy to go out on the boat but we cycled and cycled and… cycled… It was wonderful.

In the evenings we read, painted and drank tea, warm and cosy, while the Wee One slept and our boys read and whispered upstairs

Unfortunately we got back to no dog which prompted tears and trauma from everyone, it was so horrible. Then today, by chance, I popped into the local vets to see if anyone had seen the Little Hairy One. I almost fainted when they said yes and our L.H.O. was returned to us…. oh, the excitement, and more tears… of delight.

The original painting was painted using watercolour inks and pens.
